Alongside my work as a performing artist, I also enjoy creating original work through a choreographic lens. I believe that devised movement has the ability to serve not only as a mirror, which reflects, but as a kaleidoscope, which abstracts. I believe that dance allows us to acknowledge the way things are but also the way things could be. When words fail, I am especially drawn to the ways that multifarious movement can both distort and reveal truth.
